At our ski school office (Walserstraße 262, 6992 Hirschegg)
These snowboard lessons are ideal for first-timers and beginners—including adults and children from 8 years old—who want to learn how to snowboard safely in the beautiful Kleinwalsertal. Our small groups, with a maximum of 10 participants, ensure personalized attention and are organised based on age and ability. This allows each participant to start their journey in the most effective way possible. Nestled in the Austrian Alps, the resort offers stunning views and well-maintained slopes perfect for beginners.
Participants will receive an essential introduction to the fundamentals of snowboarding, including how to use their equipment properly. The instructors focus on basic movement techniques, which are crucial for building confidence and control on the snow. You will learn to brake and execute your first controlled turns on gentle slopes, a skill that is fundamental for navigating steeper terrain later on. This foundational knowledge helps build a strong base for further learning. Snowboarders with a bit of prior experience will improve their technique to get more confident on the slopes.
The lessons, led by experienced instructors, aim to create a safe and secure learning environment. Our teaching methods focus on developing balance, coordination, and fundamental skills necessary for snowboarding. With an emphasis on fun, this personalised approach ensures that participants can maximise their progress from day one, building confidence as they go. The personalised attention and the welcoming atmosphere make these lessons a rewarding experience for all ages and abilities.
