What to expect
The snowboard lessons in Lofer to go for if you are an intermediate or advanced boarder. Our team of well trained and state certified snowboard instructors will make sure that your skills reach a completely new level. Our safe freeride area in the “Almenwelt Lofer” allows you to make your first steps in the powder and the L.A. fun park will provide you with a lot of action, too. We can target your wishes and needs in an individual way, no matter if you are an adult or a kid, thanks to our small groups with a maximum of 7 participants. By doing this, we ensure huge progress. An outstanding course, that you won’t forget easily is awaiting you!
Meeting details
Check-in
You need to come to the ski school before the first lesson to pick up the course card. The card can be picked up on the day before the course starts at our office until 6:00 pm.

We meet at the booked time.
Getting there
A lift ticket is necessary to reach the meeting point.
The ride from the valley takes about 40 minutes, allow extra time in high season.
Lunch break
Lunchtime care
There is no lunchtime care and meal planned for the lessons, children need to be picked up after the morning lesson.
Additional information
Please pick up your children for the lunch break from 12 noon to 1 pm at the meeting point arranged with the ski instructor.

What should I wear for my lessons?
You should wear warm clothing suitable for winter sports. Other accessories such as gloves, a ski mask and sunglasses are strongly recommended.
When should I collect my equipment?
You must arrive at the first lesson with your equipment (skis and poles or snowboard, and boots). If you do not have your own equipment, make sure to allow enough time to collect it from the rental shop so as not to delay the start of the lesson. Some shops even offer the option of collecting equipment the day before your first day of hire.
Do I need to wear a helmet?
Wearing a helmet is compulsory for children in some countries, but it is strongly recommended for everyone, regardless of age.
Where can I buy a ski pass?
Unless otherwise stated, you must have your ski pass with you for the first lesson. You can usually buy one at the ski lift office or online. Discounted rates may be available for children or beginners, so check with your ski school to find out which pass is most suitable.
Do I need to book my lessons in advance?
Generally, it is advisable to book lessons as early as possible. This is especially important during school holidays, such as Christmas and February, when lessons can fill up quickly.
Is there a minimum age for the lessons?
Yes, the lessons are for snowboarders from 8 years old.
What is the maximum group size?
The groups are small with a maximum of 7 participants to ensure huge progress.

The meeting point is at the assembly area at the mountain station of the cable car "Almbahn II", opposite the Restaurant Soderkaser at 10:00 am. Please allow at least 40-60 minutes for the ascent.
