What to Expect
In our kids’ ski lessons in the beautiful Spitzingsee ski area, we welcome 3-year-old children to discover the joy of winter sports and take their first steps on skis.
The course is especially suitable for snow-loving children, who can learn the basics of skiing with the support of our special trained ski instructors. In small groups of a maximum of 8 children, each child gets enough attention and both safety and a fast learning progress of your children is guaranteed.
Meeting Time
We meet at the ski school 30 minutes before the course starts if you already have the equipment. If you don't, we meet 1 hour before the course starts. It is located right opposite the valley station of the 4-person chairlift of the Stümpflingbahn.
Equipment Rental
If you choose an option with equipment (skis and sticks, boots and helmet), the best time to pick it up is on the course day at 8:30 am in the ski school. You can also pick it up the day before after 03:30 pm.
Ski Pass
You don't have to buy the ski pass in advance. Your teacher will advise you and buy the ski pass with you.
Good to Know
Please provide your children with a backpack with a snack for the breaks.
Please note that the course requires a minimum of 4 participants. However, if this quota is not met, the duration of the course can be reduced.

What should I wear for my lessons?
You should wear warm clothing suitable for winter sports. Other accessories such as gloves, a ski mask and sunglasses are strongly recommended.
When should I collect my equipment?
You must arrive at the first lesson with your equipment (skis and poles or snowboard, and boots). If you do not have your own equipment, make sure to allow enough time to collect it from the rental shop so as not to delay the start of the lesson. Some shops even offer the option of collecting equipment the day before your first day of hire.
Do I need to wear a helmet?
Wearing a helmet is compulsory for children in some countries, but it is strongly recommended for everyone, regardless of age.
Where can I buy a ski pass?
Unless otherwise stated, you must have your ski pass with you for the first lesson. You can usually buy one at the ski lift office or online. Discounted rates may be available for children or beginners, so check with your ski school to find out which pass is most suitable.
Do I need to book my lessons in advance?
Generally, it is advisable to book lessons as early as possible. This is especially important during school holidays, such as Christmas and February, when lessons can fill up quickly.
