Small but nice, located in Upper Bavaria, the Westernberg ski area is the ideal spot for your youngsters who would like to get in touch with skiing. Our kids ski lessons for beginners from 4 to 5 years in Ruhpolding address the youngest amongst future ski stars and will bring out your children's potential. Accompanied by our mascot, the penguin Bobo, nothing will stop them from skiing down the slopes at the end of the lessons.
At the beginning of the course, our well-trained ski instructors will divide the little skiers into small groups in order to ensure safety and big progress. During the lessons, a playful and fun approach is important to us, which is why we include exercises from the "Beweg-dich-schlau" program by Felix Neureuther, a German alpine ski racer. This program includes exercises that train the body and brain simultaneously and that have brought him to the top of German skiing sport. Your kids will do their first steps on the snow, make turns in the plough, and take the ski lift. At the end of the course, the youngsters will easily master simple descents and moguls.
The highlight of the course still remains the kids ski race on the last day of the lessons. With real race numbers and electronic time recording, your children will feel like big ski stars. Of course, there will be a prize-giving ceremony afterwards, where every child will receive a certificate and medal - what a week!
Meeting time
We meet 10 minutes before the start of the lessons at our ski rental hut at the meeting place, Westernberg. The cabin is located at the beginning of the car park at the entrance to Ruhpolding.
