You should wear warm clothing suitable for winter sports. Other accessories such as gloves, a ski mask and sunglasses are strongly recommended.

You must arrive at the first lesson with your equipment (skis and poles or snowboard, and boots). If you do not have your own equipment, make sure to allow enough time to collect it from the rental shop so as not to delay the start of the lesson. Some shops even offer the option of collecting equipment the day before your first day of hire.

Wearing a helmet is compulsory for children in some countries, but it is strongly recommended for everyone, regardless of age.

Unless otherwise stated, you must have your ski pass with you for the first lesson. You can usually buy one at the ski lift office or online. Discounted rates may be available for children or beginners, so check with your ski school to find out which pass is most suitable.

Generally, it is advisable to book lessons as early as possible. This is especially important during school holidays, such as Christmas and February, when lessons can fill up quickly.

The price includes a free helmet for hire, the use of the magic carpet and children's ski lift, great children's programmes (e.g. children's party, children's cinema) and participation in the final race with a medal and a certificate.

You can book lunch supervision with food as an optional extra.

The meeting time is 9:45 am at the ski kindergarten at the top station of the Alpendorf gondola lift. It is also possible to bring your children to the ski school office at the valley station at 9:15 am.

Yes, on Thursdays the kids can participate in the big ski school race and receive a medal and a certificate. The mascot "Rabbit Herbert" also provides fun moments on the mountain.

Yes, for advanced kids there is a special programme called "Young Radicals" with cool jumps and tricks in the fun park.
