What to Expect

Our children's ski lessons are designed specifically for kids aged 4 to 6, focusing on introducing them to the joys of skiing in a fun and supportive environment. The ski area offers a perfect location, right next to the slope, making it convenient and safe for little ones. With its gentle slopes and beautiful alpine scenery, this resort provides an ideal backdrop for learning.

The lesson begins with a warm welcome and group allocation, ensuring each child is placed with peers of similar ability. Following a joint warm-up, the kids will enjoy 2 hours of engaging and varied lessons. Our highly trained instructors provide personal support throughout, teaching essential skills like balance, snowplow turns, and basic stopping techniques. These skills are crucial for building confidence and ensuring safety on the slopes. With a maximum of 6 children per group, our instructors offer individual attention to each child, fostering a nurturing learning environment.

On the last day, the children participate in an exciting speed race, where every child receives a medal, creating a memorable and proud moment for all. Our multilingual team speaks German, English, Dutch, and Danish, ensuring effective communication with children from various backgrounds. The small group size, in combination with the experienced instructors and beautiful location, makes our lessons a unique and enjoyable experience for young skiers.

Meeting Time

We meet at the top station of the Gernkogelbahn – 6-seater chairlift to Kreistenalm, 15 minutes before the start of the lesson.

Alternatively, you can drop off your child at 09:00 at one of our SnowWorld ski rental shops. Our instructors will take the children to the ski area. Since the drop-off takes place at the shop, parents do not need a ski pass

Please do not take the gondola; use the 6-seater chairlift instead

Ski Pass

Kids up to 6 years old don't need a ski pass for the lessons.

Please be aware that you need a ski pass to take your kid to the meeting point.

A Kinderland pass is also available. We recommend speaking to your instructor first to find out if it's suitable for you

Requirements

• Minimum age: 4 years

• Experience is not required

Bring Along

• Booking confirmation

• Warm outdoor clothing; layers are recommended

• Gloves

• Goggles

• Warm socks, including an extra pair

• Ski equipment and helmet

Good to Know

• For the Christmas holidays & school holidays in February, we recommend you book early in advance due to high demand

• Ski equipment is not included in the price of the lesson

• Please make sure your kid has skis, ski boots, helmet, gloves & sunglasses or goggles at the start of the lesson

• During our courses we are always wearing a helmet

• It is possible to switch between different skill levels during the course if a participant's abilities improve quickly

• The maximum group size is 6 participants per group
