Details
Welcome to our kids ski lessons for Beginners in Kirchberg. All children from the age of 4 who want to try their first turns and little jumps in deep snow or start with winter sports are in good hands with us. Quietly and away from the hustle and bustle, children will make progress in a short time and gain confidence on the slopes.
First-timers are introduced to the basics of skiing slowly and at their own pace, starting with exercises such as ploughing and schussing. Proper braking and standing safely on skis are also practised. When the kids feel confident, they tackle easy blue runs and make their first turns. Already, more experienced children internalize the basics and learn the correct posture as well as the use of sticks.
Meeting point
On the first day of the course, we kindly ask you to arrive at the practice lift Aschau/Kirchberg (Hinteraschau 3-1, 6365) 15 minutes before the course starts.Lunch supervision
During the lunch break from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., the children are supervised by our ski instructors. Lunch and drinks are available on-site for €15 per day.
Ski pass
Beginners do not need a ski pass for the first three days of the course. All other children will need a ski pass, which can be purchased at the lift station before the first lesson.
Good to know
Each group requires a minimum of 4 children. If this number is not reached, the lesson may be converted into a private lesson or canceled if the customer does not wish to participate.
My child is 4 years old and had never skied before. The staff at Edelweiss School were very nice and attentive. My child had fun and we as parents had a clear conscience about letting her go with us and enjoying the ski area as adults.

My grandchildren really enjoyed the ski course. Since there were not enough participants registered for a group, they were taught in pairs in 2 hours instead of 4 hours a day. You learned a lot from the friendly teachers in two days from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
