Kids Ski Lessons (4-12 y.) for Beginners - Kirchberg

You should wear warm clothing suitable for winter sports. Other accessories such as gloves, a ski mask and sunglasses are strongly recommended.

You must arrive at the first lesson with your equipment (skis and poles or snowboard, and boots). If you do not have your own equipment, make sure to allow enough time to collect it from the rental shop so as not to delay the start of the lesson. Some shops even offer the option of collecting equipment the day before your first day of hire.

Wearing a helmet is compulsory for children in some countries, but it is strongly recommended for everyone, regardless of age.

Unless otherwise stated, you must have your ski pass with you for the first lesson. You can usually buy one at the ski lift office or online. Discounted rates may be available for children or beginners, so check with your ski school to find out which pass is most suitable.

Generally, it is advisable to book lessons as early as possible. This is especially important during school holidays, such as Christmas and February, when lessons can fill up quickly.

The ski lessons are designed for children aged 4 to 12 years, so the minimum age is 4.

For beginners and children with basic skiing experience, the meeting point is at the Aschau practice area. Please arrive 15 minutes before the lesson starts on the first day and bring your booking confirmation.

Lunch is not included in the course price. However, optional supervision is available between 11:30 am and 1:00 pm, including lunch, a drink, and care for €15 per child per day, payable in cash directly to the ski instructor.

A minimum of 4 children is required for a group lesson to take place. If this number is not reached, alternative options will be discussed, such as switching to private lessons (with adjusted duration or price) with your consent, or cancelling the booking.

Beginners practise gliding, stopping, and making their first turns on the beginner slopes in Aschau. Children with prior skiing experience improve their technique and confidence on suitable slopes in the KitzSki ski area through fun, playful exercises.
