You should wear warm clothing suitable for winter sports. Other accessories such as gloves, a ski mask and sunglasses are strongly recommended.

You must arrive at the first lesson with your equipment (skis and poles or snowboard, and boots). If you do not have your own equipment, make sure to allow enough time to collect it from the rental shop so as not to delay the start of the lesson. Some shops even offer the option of collecting equipment the day before your first day of hire.

Wearing a helmet is compulsory for children in some countries, but it is strongly recommended for everyone, regardless of age.

Unless otherwise stated, you must have your ski pass with you for the first lesson. You can usually buy one at the ski lift office or online. Discounted rates may be available for children or beginners, so check with your ski school to find out which pass is most suitable.

Generally, it is advisable to book lessons as early as possible. This is especially important during school holidays, such as Christmas and February, when lessons can fill up quickly.

Lessons are held in small groups organised according to age and skiing ability, allowing instructors to give individual attention to each child.

On the first day of the course, the meeting point is at the valley station of the B1 Fleckalmbahn gondola (Klausen 2, 6365 Kirchberg in Tirol), 15 minutes before the course starts. Please bring your booking confirmation.

Lunch is not included in the course price. However, optional lunch supervision from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm is available, which includes supervision, lunch, and a drink for €15 per child per day. This is paid in cash directly to the ski instructor, and you can contact the ski school after booking if you would like to add this option.

The course requires a minimum of four children in a suitable group. If this number is not reached, alternative options will be discussed with you. Switching to private lessons with a different duration or price will only take place with your consent, or the booking can be cancelled.

Children with previous skiing experience improve their technique and build confidence on suitable slopes in the KitzSki ski area. Fun and playful exercises keep the lessons varied and engaging.
