Rafting on the Ubaye River - Mythic Tour

Come and discover the mythic rafting tour on the Ubaye river between rapids and quiet sections! You will have the chance to discover the Lauzet gorges in which the beautiful mountains of the Southern Alps reflect. You will also pass under the old Roman bridges along the way. This emblematic descent of the Ubaye is suitable for all thrill-seekers from 12 years old, who want to enjoy a sporting break of 2.5 hours in the middle of a beautiful environment!

Tour programme
- Preparation:
We meet you at our base in Méloans-Revel (free car park) 10 minutes before the tour starts. We will provide you with recent professional equipment with a full wetsuit, neoprene socks, helmet and life jacket. Then, the small group will take the shuttle bus for about 10 minutes to get to the starting point of the activity. Your tour can then begin as soon as your water safety training is completed. Normally, each raft welcomes between 4 and 7 people, depending on the water level.
- Tour:
The qualified guide, on board with you, will help you to progress between the rapids formed by the slopes of the mountains and the quieter sections. You will be able to enjoy during 1.5-hour of navigation the unusual landscapes surrounding you. You will even have the opportunity to make a 360-degree turn with your boat!
- Return:
Once the tour is over, the shuttle will take you back to the base where you will find changing rooms, hot showers, a sauna and free activities (bowling, Mölkky, slacklines) if you wish to continue this incredible day! You will also be able to admire the green nature that surrounds you to have a picnic in the wooded park or take advantage of the snack bar and the open refreshment bar.
