Despite the massive crowds at the port of Corfu (many different departures at once), we were directed to the right places efficiently, though it was a bit chaotic at times. The tour operator was Ionian Cruises. Hotel pick-up was punctual, and our German-speaking tour group was thankfully small that day. The boat trip to Saranda took about an hour, followed by a bus ride of over an hour to Butrint due to traffic. In Butrint, we had a guided tour of the archaeological park. Unfortunately, it was too short and rushed. Our guide meant well but talked too much, leaving little time for independent exploration. The buffet in Butrint was decent and good. After the boat trip back, we had about 45 minutes in the city, which was too short.
