Now's your chance! After passport control at the international terminal, you'll cross by ferry. Buses will be waiting for you in Saranda. Our bus was with our German-speaking guide, Tomi. He led us conscientiously and knowledgeably through the fascinating archaeological site of Butrint, beautifully situated on a peninsula. Lunch was ample and delicious. Afterwards, we spent an hour exploring the Saranda promenade on our own – that was perfectly sufficient. The trip to Albania was well worth it."
