RIB Boat Trip in the Gulf of Orosei from Cala Gonone"The boat tour we had been looking forward to so much started as a nightmare. At the starting point, we were told there was no room for us, despite our reservation made a week in advance. A refund was also not possible. After lengthy discussions, we were promised that we would be transported to Cala Luna in a small boat and could continue our tour there, albeit with a 2 hour and 10 minute delay. In the end, we had to wait for more than 3 hours in the sun in Cala Luna with our 11-year-old child before anyone came to pick us up. A day that began with many arguments and disappointments was completely turned around by the boat captain, Mr. Valter. What a sweet, thoughtful, and friendly person. All credit to @Valter. We still had a very, very nice day in the end. Thanks again, Valter. We had excellent views of the dolphins! What we particularly appreciated was that other observers (and there were quite a few) were very inconsiderate towards our boat and especially the dolphins, but our skipper was much more respectful!

"The beaches that we visited were great. We missed the boat at our reserved time (we were there 20 minutes before departure, it was suggested to be at the port at least 30 minutes before departure) but they put us on a different boat and we carried on with the trip."
