Everything was well organized, and we had a nice time. However, there were a couple of things that could be improved. First, we returned about 30 minutes earlier than scheduled, and it would have been great to use that extra time for swimming. The second issue was the music. It was simply too loud, and the man playing the accordion played for quite a long time and at a very high volume. I eventually had to put on noise-cancelling headphones. When you choose a boat tour, part of the experience is enjoying the sound of the sea, the waves, and the seagulls. Unfortunately, the loud music and especially the accordion made it difficult to enjoy that atmosphere. Instead of feeling relaxed after the tour, I felt more tired and even had a bit of a “square head” from the constant loud sound. The day before, it had been windy, but on the day of the tour, we had warm sunshine and almost calm conditions. The boat captain was super friendly, always in a good mood, and always open to a chat. He arrived on time at the agreed meeting point in Rijeka with two other guests, and we set off toward the picturesque island of Cres. The trip was incredibly relaxing: On the cabin deck, we could sunbathe, enjoy the sea, and the impressive view of the Kvarner Bay and the surrounding mountain ranges. A real highlight was the sighting of dolphins as we walked halfway to the old town of Beli, at a spot we had just passed by on the boat. Along the way, we stopped several times at secluded beaches that were only accessible by boat. Here, we were able to swim and cool off in the crystal-clear, turquoise waters. With our snorkeling equipment, we spotted some colorful fish, which made the experience even more unique. There was also fresh fruit, delicious drinks, and music, which created a great atmosphere on the way back. With only 10 guests on board, the group was just right—not too large, so it was relaxed and comfortable at all times. The entire trip was perfect: a friendly guide, beautiful nature, a great atmosphere, and plenty of space to enjoy. "We had a wonderful boat tour today and can absolutely recommend it. The family was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they really went out of their way to find dolphins for us. Unfortunately, we booked the midday tour, and the water was probably too warm due to the heat, so the dolphins only briefly surfaced once. Of course, no one can be blamed for that.
Nevertheless, it was a perfect day for us as a family with three children (3, 8, and 11 years old). The relaxed atmosphere, the hospitality, and the beautiful boat trip made the excursion a fantastic experience. Thank you so much!"
