The only minor downside was the focus on taking photos: we often had to stop at specific spots to pose, and even ended up waiting for our instructor while he was photographing other rafts, which took some extra time. The pictures themselves were nice, but at €15 each, we didn’t feel too motivated to buy them. The route was rather calm – but that’s just nature and part of the adventure. It was our first time trying canyoning and we really cannot recommend it enough. The views were amazing, we laughed a lot and felt really safe with the guides there. The terrain is pretty steep, uneven and slippery in some places, so probably not a suitable activity for elderly people or small children. Also, if you have claustrophobia be aware that you need to go through a cave. It is big enough to stand up inside but the opening is a narrow slit that you have to crawl through. "My 5 children and I ( ranging in age from 18-5 years) had an amazing morning rafting down the river Cetina. We started very early in the morning and saw no one else on the river which was extra special. The scenery was beautiful and very peaceful. Our guide was fantastic and made the whole experience safe but also very fun for everyone. We stopped to have a swim in the very clear water and do some jumping off the big rocks. A throughly enjoyable morning which we would recommend very highly to anyone coming onto Omiš. Great value for money and so much fun!"
