We arrived on time, had to wait – like everyone else – and then suddenly there was a lot of commotion. Some of the shoes and wetsuits were quite worn, the size adjustment on almost none of the helmets worked, and ear pads were missing. My daughters were given suits that were much too big and consequently got quite cold during the tour. The tour itself is okay; the guides are really dedicated and enthusiastic. However, everything is only in English. Unfortunately, the water level was low in August, so it wasn't very action-packed. Apparently, the waves are three times as high when the water level is high, and then it's certainly a lot of fun. "An absolutely fantastic experience for me and my son! We had an incredible amount of fun rafting on the Salzach River and would do the tour again in a heartbeat. The route was exciting, varied, and packed with action.
A very special shout-out goes to our guide, Juan! He was incredibly professional, yet also super funny, friendly, and always attentive. We felt safe and in excellent hands at all times. His relaxed and friendly manner made the tour a truly special experience.
