You will learn how to propel yourself with flippers and make turns using the foam float. It is crucial to understand how to anticipate the river's movements, so you can navigate through small currents and control the float's glide. As the descent progresses, you will experience the thrill of diving into the currents, learning to play with whirlpools, rollers, and counter-currents.Our 2-hour descent culminates as we reach the stunning Point Sublime, where the gorge narrows. Here, the Verdon speeds up and becomes steeper, offering the most thrilling part of our adventure. Under the watchful eye of your guide, you will surf the class 4 rapids, feeling the full force of the water beneath you. The tour concludes at the entrance to the Samson couloir, with its breathtaking scenery. "I'd wanted to go canyoning for years, I finally took the plunge and I absolutely didn't regret it.
I had a fabulous time, I felt completely safe and very well supervised. Letting yourself be carried by the river, in the magnificent setting of the Verdon, is an excellent way to let go, a sport, and pure relaxation. There's a little adrenaline rush during the jumps, which aren't mandatory; everyone goes at their own level, no pressure.
I recommend it 200% and I'll definitely be back for a kayak or rafting trip! 👍🏼"
