Canyoning in the Untere Auerklamm in Ötztal for Adventurers"We booked a tour for Monday, June 15th, 2026 at 1:00 PM. Even the arrival and check-in process was very pleasant. We were complete beginners and had absolutely no experience. We received such a thorough briefing, a great guide, and a great group, especially since there were only five of us. We can highly recommend it – great fun, tons of action, and lots of adrenaline! If you have no experience, you should definitely book the beginner tour first. That's exactly what we did; we made the right choice. We had to complete two big jumps, a water slide, and a whole lot of climbing routes. After a brief introduction, we were given a wetsuit, a life jacket, and a safety helmet. On the banks of the Isar, the guide gave us further instructions and pointed out the dangers. I found it very convenient that there were only six of us in our boat; we had plenty of space to paddle and didn't get in each other's way. I've also seen other operators on the Isar with significantly more people on board. I really enjoyed it and it was a lot of fun. The guide also had a lot to say about the river and the local scenery.
