Welcome to Lands - Eco Boat Tours! As a biologist, Barbara founded our company with the intention of showing the rich wildlife and plant life that the Rio Famosa has to offer in an eco-friendly manner. For over 20 years we have been offering specialist tours where you can get to know the spectacular ecosystem of Faro, while learning more about the measures needed to protect it. Join one of our tours: we use solar-powered boats or comfortable kayaks, which are all guided by local experts. The Ria Formosa Nature Park offers something for everyone, whether that be birdwatching, going through the mashes, or simply enjoying a stunning sunset over the river. Highly recommend this trip. Especially if you are looking for something very laid back and relaxing. The afternoon tour may be the best as it ends with the sunset over the waters in January. The amount of wildlife depends of course on the wildlife. Our guide André was very knowledgeable about the birds as well as the Faro area and culture. Very well spoken, engaging, and polite. Could not have asked for better.
