Within our three hours and 45 minutes long lesson, we jumped from snowplough turns to parallel turns. We did some side-slipping which practically gave me the confidence to try some steeper terrains the following days. After our lesson I realised I am not using the snowplough for speed control anymore. Before my lesson I only went skiing about ten days withing a span of 30 years. It was the first time I've got an instructor and it was definitely worth it!"
