On a semi-private boat (there were only 7 of us), we left early to avoid the crowds, and it was fantastic, front-row deckchairs available! The planned meal was perfect; it was truly a great day. "Quality Travel Crete is a great company to book through. They are helpful and informative. The trip itself is a must do. Both places are incredibly beautiful. It was a bumpy boat ride so if you get a little sea sick, just be aware to take medication. The boat was also busy so get on it earlier to secure a seat, especially when sitting upstairs. We would love to do this again in a quieter season to enjoy the islands a bit more but the scenery is really breath taking."

"Our captain Alex was very friendly and agile to sail out of the bay over the wild waves (lots of wind). Balos is the most beautiful beach we have ever seen, and in our opinion also a lot more beautiful than Elafonissi. We were allowed to choose where we moored at Gramvoussa and chose the wreck to snorkel among the fish. This is also recommended. We were also offered plenty of drinks and Alex was proud to let us taste his sandwiches!"
