10km Kayak & Canoe Hire on the Tarn River for Families

The Tarn Gorges are among the deepest to be found in Europe and offer some pretty gorgeous sceneries. To discover them up close, there is nothing like a canoeing tour with family or friends, to enjoy sporting pleasure in a grandiose natural setting. This 10-km tour starting from La Malène will take you through the narrowest part of the gorges, the "Détroits". Fallen rocks, wild waters, and lovely beaches also await you: take a picnic and swimsuit and spend an unforgettable day!

Tour programme
Preparation
We meet at our base in Cirque des Beaumes 30 minutes before the booked time (8 km from the centre of La Malène); there is free parking available on site. We will give some information about your day out and make sure you are well-equipped. We then ask you to board our mini-bus to drive you to the starting point on the river.
Tour
Once there, we answer the questions you might still have and finally let you go. It's your time to shine on your canoe or kayak now! You can keep the canoe all day, stop on the beaches, swim or just sunbathe in the wild tranquillity of the gorges.
Return
At the end of the 10 km, no matter how long you take to complete them, you will arrive back at the base. There, you'll find your belongings again, and your car.
