Ready for a 21 km canoe adventure on the Tarn river in the heart of a preserved wilderness? The descent of the Gorges du Tarn offers you one of the most beautiful points of view on this natural wonder. You will start by navigating upstream of the gorges and discover the picturesque places along the river: St Chély du Tarn and its bridge, the castle of La Caze or the ruins of a fortified castle. Then you will navigate in the heart of the gorges, until their narrowest point. It's sporty, funny and a great refreshment - does one need anything more for a perfect day out to spend with family or friends?

Tour programme
Preparation
We meet at our base in Cirque des Beaumes 30 minutes before the booked time (8 km from the centre of La Malène); there is free parking available on site. We will give some information about your day out and make sure you are well-equipped. We then ask you to board our mini-bus to drive you to the starting point on the river.
Tour
Once there, we answer the questions you might still have and finally let you go. It's your time to shine on your canoe or kayak now! You can keep the canoe all day, stop on the beaches, swim or just sunbathe in the wild tranquillity of the gorges.
Return
At the end of the 21 km, no matter how long you take to complete them, you will arrive back at the base. There, you'll find your belongings again, and your car.
