A trial dive in Saint Paul's Bay is the ideal opportunity to dive into the unknown underwater world for the first time. Accompanied by our experienced instructors you will learn the theoretical and practical basics of scuba diving. During your first breaths underwater, you will discover the fascinating aquatic environment with its numerous inhabitants.
Dive Area
Our home reef directly next to our base offers optimal conditions for your trial dive. In the confined water, you are never far away from the safe shore and can approach your first dive in a relaxed way. Underwater, you have the possibility to discover an overgrown anchor as well as a beautiful sand field and its inhabitants.
Programme- Meeting & Preparation:
If you arrive by car, parking is widely available nearby. We meet directly at our base at the Gillieru Harbour Hotel. Here you get to know your guides and receive the equipment. As soon as the group is ready, we will start with a theoretical introduction, explaining the diving gear and safety instructions.
- Diving:
In the water of our home reef, you first complete a few exercises in shallow water under the guidance of your diving instructor. As soon as you feel ready, we will start with the half-hour dive, where you can dive to a maximum depth of 5 meters.
- Return:
After the dive, we return to our base where you are welcome to end the day with a cup of coffee or a cool beer. If you have been picked up from the hotel, we will, of course, take you back.

Fantastic course! Three friends and I decided to add some variety to our Malta holiday and booked this introductory scuba diving course. All the instructors speak German and answered all our questions in detail. We started with a short introduction to diving and the technical aspects, and then we were able to dive for about half an hour in the harbor basin right in front of the dive center.
