Details
The SSI Scuba Diver course allows you to achieve your first diving certification in just two days and thus take the first step of your diving career. Together with our experienced diving instructors, you learn the basics of scuba diving in our home bay. During your first open water dives, you can apply the skills you have learned and discover the fascinating Maltese underwater world.Goal of the course
With the SSI Scuba Diver certificate in your pocket, you can dive to depths of up to 12 m accompanied by a professional dive guide. In this course, you complete the first half of the Open Water Diver program and learn the basics of diving. If you later decide to continue your training to become an Open Water Diver, you can pick up where you left off. The convenient online theory training, which you can complete in advance, allows you to concentrate fully on the practical side of the course.
Meeting & Preparation
If you arrive by car, parking is widely available nearby. We either meet directly at our base at the Gillieru Harbour Hotel or pick you up from your accommodation (in St. Paul's Bay area only) and take you to the dive centre. Here you will get to know your instructors and receive the equipment. As soon as the group is ready, we will start the course. The group size is limited to 5 participants in the regular course and 2 participants per instructor in the VIP option.
