Our competent instructors are waiting for you in a relaxed atmosphere and a beautiful setting. In Hendaye, you will find one of the most beautiful beaches in the Basque Country, the beach of Hendaye, which also offers ideal conditions for surfing, whether you want to learn or improve your skills. So prepare yourself for an unforgettable adventure in a group of maximum 8 participants per instructor. From learning the basics to developing your technical and practical knowledge, there is something for everyone!
Meeting & Preparation
At the scheduled time, we'll meet at our base directly at the beach, right in the centre of Hendaye. Here, you can change and store your belongings in one of the 50 lockers that are at your disposal. Your instructor will give you your wetsuit as well as a short briefing about the lesson. Then, all you have to do is grab a nice board, and follow your instructor to the sea!
The advantage of Hendaye beach is that the starting times of our lessons do not depend on the tides. Since the beach is quite large, your instructor will choose a suitable place on the beach. Another little bonus: you don't have to be able to swim! You can walk up to 20 m into the waters of Hendaye beach and you will always be able to stand!

As a beginner surfer, you will be shown the basics of surfing including knowledge of the environment, catching a wave in a lying position, standing up on the board, pushing through waves.
