Spend an exciting day at sea and discover the pristine underwater world of the Atlantic! Our experienced guides will show you the most beautiful places around the Berlengas Islands. We take care of everything - snorkeling equipment and snack included. All you need to bring along is a good mood and a smile. See you soon in Peniche!
Dive Area Depending on the weather, we will decide in the morning on the day of the snorkel trip where we will go. You can be sure, however, that our experienced guides will take you to the best spots! In addition to the Berlengas, the Farilhões are also a popular destination. You can discover a very diverse and varied underwater world, and with a bit of luck, even see our mascot, the sunfish.
Programme - Meeting & Preparation: We meet at the booked time at our diving centre in Peniche, where free parking is available. There you get the snorkeling equipment, and we decide together to which spot it will go. Your guide will show you our dive centre if you wish. - Snorkeling: As soon as everybody's on the boat, we're off! In one of our modern boats, we go to the selected spots. Your guide will introduce you to the best insider tips. Between the snorkeling sessions, we will eat a snack to recharge our batteries. - Return: In the late afternoon, we return to the dive centre. There you can take a warm shower.

Requirements - This activity has no special requirements or minimum age. Nevertheless, we recommend you to contact us if the participant is under the age of 8. - Swimming ability

Germany · August 2025The snorkeling trip was fantastic and highly recommended! We were met at the dive center at 8:30, received our gear, and were able to swap clothes/shoes if something didn't fit. The dive center offers restrooms, changing rooms, hot showers, and towels. You can leave your gear there during the trip; water and snacks (bananas and pasteis de nata) were available along the way. We also brought food for our lunch break on the boat. We were driven to the harbor and then boarded two speedboats. The total group consisted of about 30 people. As a family with three children, we had our own dive guide, Cissi. (There were always 4-5 people in a group. The groups always snorkeled together at the same time and kept plenty of distance between each other.) Our snorkeling guide was always very attentive, explained a lot (she's studying marine biology), and even had a handbook on fauna and flora with her. She was competent, adapted to our pace, paid special attention to our youngest daughter, and explained the dangers – overall, she was very competent, relaxed, friendly, and approachable. Everyone at the dive center speaks fluent English. We visited two snorkeling spots and had plenty of time to snorkel. We also snorkeled through a cave and saw lots of fish. We were lucky and even saw octopuses twice. Very fascinating! Great trip!
