It has never been easier to discover the fascination of scuba diving. On the beautiful island of Faial, you can find out what it means to breathe underwater and at the same time discover the volcanic landscape with countless sea dwellers like barracudas, sea horses and wrasses. With us, you have the choice between a pool dive and a dive in the Atlantic Ocean. Join your experienced diving instructors for an unforgettable underwater adventure!
Goal of the course
Within this program, you learn the basics of scuba diving and have the chance to discover what breathing underwater feels like. We teach you theoretical basics, safety rules and the handling of the scuba equipment before you get a taste of scuba diving during your first dive. Depending on the option you book, you can do a diving session in the pool, which ideal if you are short on time and money. The other option is a first dive from the boat, which allows you to discover the underwater world of Faial.
Meeting & Preparation
We meet at our diving centre located in the Faial Resort Hotel in Horta, where plenty of parking space is available. Here you meet your guides, receive the diving equipment and can use the changing rooms. As soon as everybody is ready, we start the course with a short theoretical introduction.
