E-Bike Self Guided Tour in Sete Cidades - Itinerary 1

Explore the beautiful nature surrounding the blue and green lagoon with the E-Bike Self Guided tour in Sete Cidades. Cycle through the quaint village and witness the local culture and traditions of this rural lifestyle, and stop whenever you feel like it. The route is suitable for everyone who enjoys riding a bike and is at least 1,55 metres tall.

Tour program
- Preparation:
We meet at our office where you will receive a quick safety instruction and introduction on how to use an e-bike, which will take around 15 minutes. After we showed you how to use the GPS tracker and the map, we will hand you your equipment, and you are ready to enjoy the trails of Sete Cidades.
- Tour:
The tour is around 16 kilometres long and leads you through the unique nature of Sete Cidades. You will start from the blue lagoon, which is directly at our office, and drive through the tunnel of Sete Cidades to visit the beautiful small village. You will pass by the Parish Church of Sao Nicolau and witness first hand the traditional life. Many little shops and bakeries are waiting for you to stop and enjoy some pastries or a coffee to recharge your batteries. After that, you will also pass the green lagoon. From there on, you will cross the bridge dividing both of the lagoons and make your way back along the banks of the blue lagoon. After going to the Peninsula, your trip will end in the picnic area of silence bay.
- Return:
After 2 hours of exploring the beautiful nature surrounding the lagoons, you will return to your starting point.
