Canyoning in Ribeira da Salga Half Day

Explore with us the untouched nature of Ribeira de Salga Canyon. An experienced guide will lead you through the forest, slide down the river, jump from the tops of wonderous waterfalls and rappel down this deep canyon with you. We will challenge you with some rough paths and high jumps, to get your adrenaline rushing. In the end, we will reward your bravery with a nice picnic like lunch at our local park to look back together on the thrilling adventure.

Tour programme
- Preparation:
We will pick you up from your hotel or meet you straight at the starting point. There you will get a brief introduction on our safety measures and we will provide you with all the equipment you need. After that we will start our tour with a 30-minute hike towards the start of the canyon where the proper action will start.
- Tour:
We will guide you through the canyon, including some steep paths and almost untouched nature. The highlight of the tour will be the rappel that can reach up to 16 metres and the highest jump being around 9 metres. If you want to avoid certain passages, that is of course no problem.
- Return:
After around 5 hours, we will end our trip with an uphill climb back to our starting point and a well deserved picnic at our local park.
