Canyoning Experience "Classic"- Caldeirões

If you’re looking for something new and fun to do and you are 6 years old or older, then this canyoning experience is for you! On this 3-hour tour, we will immerse ourselves in nature and take you to explore magnificent rivers and waterfalls using different canyoning techniques such as jumps, rappels and water slides. Undoubtedly, the most thrilling and adventurous way to experience Azorean nature up close in one of the most beautiful locations on the island.
Tour programme
- Preparation:
Once everyone has arrived and parked their car, we will show you your canyoning equipment. We will take a short walk of approximately 15 min to our first stop, where we will have our first safety briefing. We will then continue on a short scramble uphill where we will then stop for our second safety briefing, where we will show you how to rappel before continuing onwards and upwards for another 10 min to the start of the canyon where the fun will begin!
- Tour:
After reaching the top of the canyon, you will start the second part of your adventure. You can expect several jumps (between 2 and 7 meters in height, all optional), a natural slide and some abseils (between 5 and 15m in height).
- Arrival:
After this wonderful adventure, we walk back through our original trail and return to our cars, with the feeling of having spent a great day!
