For those who want to get a first taste of what diving is but don't have necessarily a lot of time, the SSI Scuba Diver certification is the perfect choice. After a short two-day course, you will have learned the basics of diving and you will have enough knowledge and experience to dive up to 12m with a SSI instructor. The SSI Scuba Diver certification is the first step towards full autonomy. In this course, you will learn the basics of diving. It is a complete course with theory, dives in confined water and dives in open water that will allow you to dive up to 12m with a PADI instructor.Meeting & Preparation
We meet directly in our dive centre at the booked time. If you're using public transport, we will pick you up at the bus stop in Nea Makri. We also offer free pick up and drop off from your hotel if you are staying in Nea Makri. After you arrive, we will take some time to fill out the necessary papers. Then, you will meet your instructor and be provided with your equipment. When everyone is ready, the course will begin.Course content
- Day 1: Theory Lesson + 1 Confined Water Dive
- Day 2: Theory Lesson + 2 Confined Water Dives
- Day 3: Theory Lesson + 2 Open Water Dives

Can I take part if I can't swim, and are life jackets/floating devices provided (including for kids)?
No, the ability to swim is a requirement to participate in this course.
What are the requirements to participate?
You need to be at least 10 years old, be in good physical health, and be able to swim. Also, you must not fly within 24 hours after the dive.

The course is spread over 3 days and includes 3 theory lessons, 3 practice dives in confined water, and 2 open water dives.
