Elba is a true paradise for certified divers! In this excursion, you will have the chance to discover Elbas most beautiful diving spots together with your diving buddy. Please, note that this is not a guided dive. Experienced divers looking for adventure will find it all to their liking. Thanks to the clear water, you have excellent visibility and there are hardly any currents. The Aquanautic Elba team looks forward to sharing their favourite dive sites with you!
Dive area
The water world around Elba is the largest water park in Europe! The dive centre is located directly in the bay of Morcone and all dive sites on the island of Elba are within easy reach. The underwater landscape is completely intact and very varied: besides large shoals of small fish, you can often meet barracudas, perches, moray eels. On the steep slopes, you can find red gorgonians and yellow anemones. You can also dive through caves and wrecks. A highlight is the ship "Elviscot" which sank in 1972 in front of Pomonte. It can be visited by certified divers of all levels, as it is at a depth of just 12 metres.
Programme- Meeting & Preparation:
Meeting point is at the booked time at the diving centre of Aquanautic Elba in Morcone. There you will get to know the team and choose the dive site together with the local diving professionals. All preparations are made on land and as soon as everyone is ready, you will be taken to the dive site by car or boat.
- Diving:
A diving instructor will be at the dive site with you and will explain to you the particularities of the chosen diving spot. Once in the water, you will be free to discover the spot together with your buddy.
- Return:
After the dive, you will return to the dive centre, where you will find all the facilities. From washing facilities for your equipment to showers and a bar, everything has been thought of.
