This canoe-kayak trip starts upstream from Brantôme. A shuttle will take you from our Allo Canoës base to Fontaine with all your equipment, including a canoe slide. You’ll then enjoy a pleasant route: through the center of Brantôme, over the dam using the slide, then back to the base about 2 hours after departure. Before or after your outing, take some time to relax and enjoy the picnic area at the base, by the river, for a peaceful moment in nature.
Tour programme
We meet at our base 1 km from Brantome30 min before the booked time (departure of the shuttle bus). You will find a large free car park on the spot. You will be greeted by our team, who will give you your equipment (boat and life jacket) and explain the safety instructions. Then you will board our shuttle to reach the starting point of the tour.
You will return to the base approximately 2hrs after leaving. On site, you can then enjoy our picnic area if you wish. Don't leave without visiting Brantôme, by foot this time!

Beautiful scenery. Lots of wildlife. Great to see brantome from the river point of view. Got a bit stuck on the Weir as did not build up enough speed!!
