With family or friends, discover the jewels of the Dordogne with this 10 km canoe trip. At your own pace, admire the marvellous landscapes of the Périgord with its typical villages such as La Roque-Gageac and Castelnaud and its famous castles overhanging vertiginous cliffs.
Tour programme- Preparation:We meet at
our base 20 minutes before the chosen time. Parking is free at the base. There you will be welcomed by our team who will brief you on the descent, safety instructions and equipment. Then you will leave directly from our base for the descent.
- Tour:Alone in your kayak or with up to 3 people in your canoe, let's discover the picturesque landscapes of the valley! Allow yourself time to enjoy the 10 km descent, with its villages and famous castles. You can even stop along the river for a swim, a walk or a picnic. Don't miss visiting
La Roque-Gageac, elected Most Beautiful Village of France, or the castle of
Castelnaud, the castle of Fayrac, and finally the castle of Beynac. Without a break, the descent lasts about 2.5hrs.
- Return:The arrival is in Beynac, on the beach on the right bank just after the 3rd bridge, where our shuttle is waiting for you
every hour until 6 pm (last departure) to bring you back to our base.
