What to Expect

Join our snowboarding lessons, suitable for kids from 7 years and adults of all ability levels. Nestled in the picturesque Ötztal region, the resort provides an ideal backdrop for a fun and effective learning experience. The lessons are conducted in small, dynamic groups of up to 10 participants. This small group size ensures every rider receives individual attention, constructive feedback, and a safe, social environment for rapid progression. We carefully group participants by skill level to ensure the best possible learning outcomes for everyone.

For first-timers, the lesson begins with getting familiar with your gear, mastering basic balance and side-slipping, and linking your very first turns on our gentle, dedicated beginner slopes. These foundational skills are crucial for building confidence and ensuring safety on the snow. More experienced riders will work on refining technical skills like edge control, riding switch, tackling varied terrain, and speed management. These advanced techniques help riders to navigate more complex slopes with ease and precision.

Our highly qualified instructors are passionate about teaching both children and adults, ensuring that every participant progresses at a pace that is challenging yet comfortable. Throughout the lesson, the emphasis is on fun, safety, and maximizing your time on the snow. By the end of your course, you will have gained significant skills and confidence, ready to enjoy the exhilarating world of snowboarding in the beautiful Ötztal.

Meeting Time

We meet at our ski school office and rental shop, 15 minutes before the start of the lesson. If you booked with equipment (to be added to your cart during check-out), please be at the shop 1 hour before the start to pick up your equipment.

Equipment Rental

If you need rental equipment, please add it to your shopping cart during the checkout process when booking.

Ski Pass

All participants need a ski pass from the first day of the lessons. You can buy your ski pass at the ski lift ticket office or online before the first lesson.

Please be aware that you need a ski pass to take your kid to the meeting point.

• For the Christmas holidays & school holidays in February, we recommend you book early in advance due to high demand

• Please note that the course only takes place with a minimum of 2 participants

• Snowboard equipment not included in the lessons

• It is possible to switch between different skill levels during the course if a participant's abilities improve quickly

• The maximum group size is 10 participants per group
