What to Expect

These introductory ski lessons are ideal for kids between 4 and 6 years who want to try skiing for the first time, without committing to a long ski course. Nestled in the heart of the picturesque Hochoetz ski resort, your child will experience two hours of fun and learning on the slopes. With a child-friendly approach and groups of maximum 10 kids, our experienced instructors ensure that children learn the basics of skiing in a fun, safe, and sociable atmosphere.

The lesson begins with an introduction to the skiing equipment, allowing kids to become familiar with their skis and boots. This essential step ensures comfort and safety on the slopes. Next, children will practice balancing and gliding on flat terrain, laying the foundation for all future skiing skills.

Throughout the session, our instructors focus on making learning enjoyable, using engaging activities to teach coordination and confidence-building techniques. By the end of the lesson, kids not only have their first skiing experience but also a sense of accomplishment and joy. This introduction to skiing is not just about learning; it is about creating a love for the sport in a supportive and encouraging environment.

Meeting Time

We meet at our ski school office and rental shop, 15 minutes before the start of the lesson. If you booked with equipment (to be added to your cart during check-out), please be at the shop 1 hour before the start to pick up your equipment.

Equipment Rental

If you need rental equipment, please add it to your shopping cart during the checkout process when booking.

Ski Pass

Please be aware that you need a ski pass to take your kid to the meeting point.

All kids need a ski pass. For kids up to 7 years, the ski pass is available for free at the lift station.

• For the Christmas holidays & school holidays in February, we recommend you book early in advance due to high demand

• Please note that the course only takes place with a minimum of 2 participants

• Ski equipment is not included in the price of the lesson
