At your own pace, in your kayak or up to 4 people in your canoe, discover our wildest route, combining lush flora and fauna, impressive cliffs and ancient castles. From 5 years old, this canoe trip is suitable for families but also for nature lovers.
Tour programme
- Preparation:
We meet at our base in La Roque-Gageac at the chosen time. There you will be welcomed by our team who will brief you on the descent, safety instructions and equipment. Then our shuttle bus will take you to Carsac-Aillac for your departure.
- Tour:
On your way, you can stop to admire the famous Templar bastide of Domme or have a picnic in front of one of the romantic landscapes that the Dordogne offers you. At the end of your journey, you will be blown away by the beauty of the listed village of La Roque-Gageac where is our base, home to a 12th-century fortress. You can have a break whenever you like, for a swim in the river, a walk in a village or a picnic by the water. The single descent takes about 3 hrs.
