25km Kayak & Canoe Hire on the Dordogne - Full Route

Aboard your kayak or up to 4 people in your canoe, let's go for a Périgourdine adventure! Explore our 25 km natural and historical route on the Dordogne River, characterised by its preserved nature, diverse fauna and flora and fabulous restored fabulous castles such as Montfort. You will be blown away by the characteristic cliffs of the Périgord. You can stop whenever you like, for a swim in the river, a walk in a village or a picnic by the water.

Tour programme
- Preparation:
We meet at our base in La Roque-Gageac at the chosen time. There you will be welcomed by our team who will brief you on the descent, safety instructions and equipment. Then our shuttle bus will take you to Carsac-Aillac for your departure.
- Tour:
This 25 km descent will enchant you, with its landscapes all along the way such as the cliffs of Caudon or the cliff of Pendeuils. Have a break in the most beautiful village of France at La Roque-Gageac but also Marqueyssac, or the village Castelnaud-la-Chapelle with its feudal castle. Without a break, the descent to Les Milandes, takes about 5 hours.
- Return:
Once you arrive at the beach in Les Milandes, our shuttle bus is waiting for you every hour until 7 pm (last departure) to take you back to our base at La Roque-Gageac.
