Enjoy an unforgettable day of canoeing, where you can enjoy the famous landscapes of the Tarn Gorges. Nature lovers will be delighted! Along the river Tarn, you will be able to admire medieval castles and typical villages of the Lozère region. The ever-changing scenery is absolutely stunning and will have you craving for more! You have plenty of time to complete this 20-km route, which you can combine with relaxing breaks to go swimming. A great day out for families and groups of friends!
Tour programme- Preparation:
We meet directly at our base in à Sainte-Énimie, 10 minutes before the booked time. You're welcome to park your car on our free car park. Our team will welcome you and provide you with the necessary equipment before giving you some important safety instructions. We will bring you to Prades by minibus, from where you will start your adventure.
- Tour:
Many highlights await you along the way in this idyllic setting characteristic of the Tarn Gorges. From the river, you will see historical sites such as the medieval castle of Prades or the castle of La Caze of Renaissance style, but also typical villages of the region such as Saint-Chély-du-Tarn or Hauterives. If you're lucky, you might even witness the mail being delivered to the village by cable car across the river.
- Return:
When you arrive in Hauterives, the shuttle will be waiting for you to take you back to our base where you can get back into your own car.
