Level 1 FFESSM Scuba Diving Course for Beginners

The level 1 FFESSM diving course is a French qualification, which allows beginners to acquire the basics of diving quickly from 12 years old. Following your training of 2 days, you will be able to dive with an instructor up to 20m below the surface with an instructor. You will be able to take advantage of the swimming pool at our base to train before embarking for Île d'Or or Lion de Mer Island depending on the weather. These are two magical dive spots with clear waters and depths through which you can observe fields of algae and coral as well as colorful fishes as far as the eye can see.

Programme
After completing the booking, the dive center will contact you to arrange which option you prefer between eLearning and on-site theory lecture.
- eLearning:
If you choose the eLearning option, we will send you access to the online study program which you will need to complete before the course start date. On the first day of your course, all you need to do is present the confirmation you received from the eLearning platform to prove that you have passed the theoretical part of the course. You will then be able to go straight to the practical part with your instructor.
- On-site theory lecture:
If you choose the option of taking the theory course on-site, you will learn all about scuba diving theory in a classroom at the dive centre with one of our instructors.
- Kick-off:
We will meet you directly at the campsite "La plage d'Argens" where our base is located at the agreed time, to register you and have you fill in the necessary documents. Once the equipment has been provided and put on, your instructor will give you a briefing insisting on the safety instructions.
You will start with a pool dive at our base to familiarise yourself with the basics and equipment. You will learn how enter in the water, how to breath and swim underwater. After 2 hours in the pool, we will accompany you to the boat to take you to the dive site depending on the wind to start our 4 dives in the sea over 2 days.
