Every now and then, problems in the water occur. However, with the right knowledge, most of them can be prevented. So why not take a course in which you learn exactly how to recognize and prevent such situations? At the same time, you will improve your diving skills increasing your self-confidence underwater.
Goal of the courseThe aim of this course is to improve your diving skills and strengthen your confidence underwater. You can prevent problematic situations and react accordingly to emergency situations. In addition, you will be able to identify and help other divers in emergencies during future dives.
Meeting & PreparationAt best, you come by our diving centre already 1-2 days before the beginning of the course, so we can get to know each other, and we can already take care of the bureaucracy. Otherwise, we meet at the agreed time at our diving centre in Vrsar. If you arrive by car, free parking is available at the centre or at the camping site car park. There you get to know your PADI instructor and get a briefing about the premises and the exact procedure of the course.
Course contentThe focus of the course is to practice problem-solving skills until they become a habit. You will also learn how to become a better buddy. By expanding your theoretical knowledge with the help of a book, DVD, and instructor presentation and by doing various rescue exercises in the water, you strengthen your diving skills. Some topics in the course are self-rescue, emergency management and the rescue of other divers.
