Details
Explore the beautiful seabed of Crete with our guided dive at Mononaftis Bay. Depending on your level and wishes, you can discover interesting rock formations such as the Amphora Cave, the Pierced Rock or the Chimney. On the seabed of the bay, there is also an anchor, which you can admire up close. During the 45 minute to 1 hour dive, you will be supervised by a certified instructor, who will show you all the hidden treasures of the bay and its surroundings.
Dive Area
We dive at Mononaftis Bay, which is located just opposite the base. The sea bottom is rocky, and the caves and caverns are home to many species, which makes the dive fascinating. The crystal clear waters of the bay offer visibility of up to 30 m, so you will have the opportunity to see a lot of underwater animals. We also have the opportunity to see an anchor, which has been lying on the seabed in the bay for decades.
Programme
We meet at the booked time at our base behind the Nemo Bar in Mononaftis Bay. If your first guided dive is in the afternoon, please arrive at the base at 1:15 pm. We can also arrange a transfer after your booking. There is a free parking spot available aswell. Afterwards, we will provide you with your equipment, and you can use our changing rooms. You can also leave your personal belongings in the lockers we provide. We will then head to the beach and get into the water. Our instructor will guide you in the water to the spot. After 45 minutes to 1 hour of diving, we will return to the base, where you can hand in your equipment.
