The Asinara National Park, with its wild landscapes, turquoise waters and famous white donkeys, is a must-see during your stay in northern Sardinia. Thanks to our day trip from Stintino to Asinara with a guided tour of the island, you will have the opportunity to visit the whole island and the main points of interest with the advantage of having a local guide and being protected from the sun. We will leave in the morning from the Marina of Stintino with our motorboat, and after about 20 minutes of navigation we will arrive at the port of Fornelli, in the southern part of the island. Here our official guide will be waiting for us along with our colourful sightseen train, with which we will travel about 26 kilometres along the island. You will have the opportunity to get off the train several times to visit points of interest such as the marine animal rescue centre and the Cala Oliva prison, but also just to admire the views and photograph the sweet white donkeys. During the day, there will be two stops for swimming at two different beaches on the island, and you will have time to eat your packed lunch. We are certain that during this guided tour of Asinara you will not only learn about the interesting history of the island, but also fully appreciate its lush Mediterranean vegetation and beautiful white beaches.
Highlights - Tour of the island with a touristic train and the official guide of the Asinara National park - Stop at the marine animal rescue centre and the Cala Oliva prison - Two swimming stops and time for taking photos during the day - Incredible variety of flora and fauna, including the endemic Asinara white donkey

Good to know - There are only two bars on the island, one in the port of Fornelli and one in Cala Oliva, and their offer is often limited - Please note that the maximum number of passengers on the touristic train is 55, but we have a second train - It is not allowed to bring beach umbrellas on the island

A very positive experience, well-organized, respecting the rules imposed by the park authority, avoiding allowing people to break the rules.
