Details

The southern part of Zakynthos is famous for its big population of Caretta-Caretta turtles. You can spot them and explore the coast of this island on this boat trip to the Keri Caves! We will pick you up with our mini-bus from your accommodation. We then drive to Cameo Island, where we will board the boat right next to the hanging wooden bridge. This bridge is already the first famous sight that you will see during this trip. After a short moment to take pictures, we board our glass-bottom boat and head towards the Keri Caves. Along the way, you can spot the turtles and other wildlife through the glass. Once we arrive at the Keri Caves, we stop to swim in the crystal clear water and admire the caves from the inside. They are surrounded by plenty of natural stone arches, so you can swim underneath them and take some amazing photos. We then continue to the final stop at Marathonisi Island. This island is shaped like a turtle, and its beaches are nesting places for the Caretta-Caretta species, thus it has gotten the name Turtle Island. We stop here for another swim at the Golden Nesting Beach. After the tour, we will get back into the minibus, and drop you off at your accommodation.

Departure & Return We meet at the port of Agios Sostis, 15 minutes before the start of the aactivity. Free parking is available at the port; however, during the high season, the number of parking spaces may be limited. Please allocate extra time to account for this possibility, as this is beyond our responsability. Pick-up We will pick you up from your accommodation, or another meeting point, before the start of the trip. If your preferred pick-up point is further than 10 kilometres from Laganas, there will be a small surcharge. After the booking, we will arrange the exact meeting point and time. When the tour ends, we will bring you back to the same meeting point.
