Join us on a fabulous boat trip to the island of Nisyros! We start from the harbour in Kardamena and reach our destination after an hour on the high seas. Although Nisyros is one of the smallest islands in the Dodecanese archipelago, it has a lot to offer with its natural beauty and cultural heritage. Once on the island, if you choose the volcano tour option, we will take a bus to the highest point where you can admire an incredible panoramic view. Make sure you don't forget your camera! You also have the opportunity to visit the active crater of the volcano, where you can feel the activity of the volcano under your feet and see sulphur springs bubbling. After this adventure, the bus will take you back to Mandraki, where you disembarked earlier. There, you still have some time to discover the place. If you book the option without the volcano tour, you can visit the monastery of Panagia Spillani or soak up the atmosphere of the picture-perfect town. At an agreed time, we will all meet back in Mandraki and board the boat to make our way back to Kardamena.
Highlights - Explore the Dodecanese island of Nisyros - Enjoy the small town of Mandraki - Optional: visit a volcanic crater
Departure & Return We meet at the port of Kardamena 15 minutes before departure. If you arrive by car, you will find a free car park near the port. At the end of our tour, we will return to Kardamena.

Perfect day. We even lost our cell phone on the bus that took us to the volcano, and the organizers recovered it without any problems. The only flaw...the audio guide on the bus couldn't be heard...the acoustics were terrible, but the day was enjoyable and the visit times were perfect.

The visit to the volcano was beautiful, but too short. There were few directions on what to do; everything was too clear. In my opinion, it's not worth the cost.
