Discover the exciting underwater life with our trial dive in the Algarve! Accompany our experienced instructors to any of the beaches around Sagres that are perfect for beginners, and try this fascinating sport for the first time. To ensure a safe and fun experience, the groups will not be bigger than 4 people per instructor and the maximum depth is 12 metres. After learning a bit of theory and exercises to feel comfortable in the water, you will experiment breathing underwater and the feeling of weightlessness for the first time. You do not need any previous experience and everyone from the age of 10 can join, so it is the perfect activity to share with your family during your stay in the Algarve!
Dive area
Depending on the weather, we choose the perfect diving area on one of the beaches near Sagres, suitable for beginners. Here, you will be able to admire the unique species that inhabit these waters, such as the green turtle, anchovies, and other colourful fishes, while enjoying scuba diving in total safety.
ProgrammeWe meet at the booked time at our office in Sagres. If you come by car, there is free car park available. There, you will meet your instructor, that will give you a quick safety briefing and provide you with the equipment. Once you are ready, we will go together to the diving spot selected, and you will be ready to start your adventure! At the end of the diving session, we will return to the office.

We received a warm welcome and a good explanation before the dive.
When you book a first dive, you stay around the coast and don't see much, but the experience was still very good. We saw fish and starfish, and a beautiful anemone at the end of the pier.
Also keep in mind that the Atlantic Ocean is cold. Fortunately, you receive sufficient equipment (suit, undershirt, gloves), so this was not too bad. Visibility is also lower in July due to the onshore wind, which blows a lot of debris into the water.
