If you have always wanted to know what lies beneath the ocean, our SSI Scuba Diver course is the best activity for you! Together with our certified instructor, you will master the basics of this fascinating sport and make your first dives in open water, even if you are a complete beginner. You can admire the abundant flora and fauna underwater on one of the beaches around Sagres. After only 2 days, you will be able to dive independently anywhere in the world accompanied by an instructor, as the SSI certificate is recognized worldwide!
The SSI Scuba Diver course qualifies you to:
- Dive to a maximum depth of 12 metres/40 feet
- Dive with a scuba diving instructor by your side
Programme- eLearning:
We will send you access to the online study programme, which you will have to complete before the course starts. It consists of 3 theoretical modules that you can finish at your own pace. On the first day of the course, all you need to do is show the confirmation you received from the eLearning platform to prove that you passed the theoretical part, and you can go straight to the practical part with your instructor.
- Kick-off:We meet directly at our base in Sagres at the agreed time, where you will fill out the necessary documents for the course. If you come by car, there is free car park available. After that, your instructor will give you a quick safety briefing and all the equipment you need. From there, you will go together to the pool where you will make three confined dives. Once you feel comfortable enough, our boat will take you to the open sea to perform two dives before getting your certificate.
