If you want to discover the seven seas and all their secrets, you definitely need an SSI Open Water Diver certification. The certification is recognized worldwide and allows you to dive independently for a lifetime. The combination of theoretical and practical content makes the diving course perfect for beginners, with or without first diving experience, who want to get their first diving certificate. Children between the ages of 10 and 12 can complete the Junior Open Water Diver course, where you can dive to depths of up to 12 metres. From the age of 13, the certificate is converted into the adult Open Water Diver, where you can dive to depths of up to 18 metres.
The underwater world of Krk is characterized by its diversity and therefore offers the perfect opportunity to complete a diving course. Whether colourful fish, turtles, small sharks, corals or shipwrecks, the diving spots around Krk fulfil all your wishes.
The Open Water Diver qualifies you to:
- Dive to a maximum depth of 18 metres/60 feet (Junior: 12 metres)
- Plan and execute dives with a certified buddy
- Rent or buy diving equipment in dive centres worldwide
Programme- eLearning:
You will receive access to the online platform from the diving school. You can schedule the theoretical units whenever you want to do them. It is only important that you complete the course before your practical sessions.
- Kick-off:
We meet at our diving centre at 9:30 am. You will find a paid car park directly in front of the base. Upon arrival, you can show your instructor your confirmation of the successfully completed online course and fill out the necessary papers. Afterwards, you will receive a clear safety briefing and your equipment for the upcoming dive. After you have familiarized yourself with your equipment, we will make our way to the dive site. All dives take place from the beach, which we reach together in our van.
