The thrill of breathing underwater for the first time is an experience you will never forget, and with our PADI Discover Scuba Diving in Capoliveri, you will learn the basics of this fascinating activity! Our experienced instructors, many of whom are also marine biologists, will ensure that your introduction to diving is as complete and safe as possible. You will enjoy an exciting practical first trial experience, enriched by some theory, to satisfy your curiosity about this unique activity. In groups of up to four participants per instructor, you will observe numerous marine species in their habitat, such as red coral and beadlet anemone. The seabed on the island of Elba will leave you speechless!
Dive area
Capoliveri's beautiful and calm Morcone beach is the perfect place for first dives. It is located on the western slope of Monte Calamita, and has a seabed of golden sand with a few small areas of gravel. The crystal-clear blue waters of this cove allow a clear view of the world beneath the sea, while on the surface you will see the beautiful Mediterranean scrub surrounding it. Depending on the weather conditions, we will choose the dive spot that best suits your abilities, but in any case you will be able to observe the different species of fish that inhabit these depths, such as Mola Mola, the Muraena, and a lot more!
Programme
We will meet at our centre at the appointed time, in the vicinity of which there is a free car park (chargeable in high season). First, we will have a first thorough half-hour theory lesson at our centre. Afterwards, you will receive the necessary material for the activity, and we will go to the shore to have a lesson in confined water. Once you have learnt breathing techniques underwater, and the basic language to communicate with the instructor, we will set off in one of our boats in search of the perfect spot to dive. At this point you will be happy to make your very first real dive, always in a group of maximum 4 participants per instructor! Back on land, you will finally have a chance to take a shower and change before saying goodbye.
