If you would like to learn how to surf quickly and have one of our professional instructors all for yourself, our private surf lessons on Praia da Galé are exactly what you are looking for. Our certified instructors will help you catch the best waves on this amazing beach, whether you are a beginner or intermediate surfer.
We want you to improve at your own pace and to ask your instructor as many questions as you want, that's why the maximum number of participants in our private lessons is 4 people. See you on the beach!
Meeting & Preparation
We meet at our base in Praia da Galé 15 minutes before the start of the lesson. After checking in, you will meet your instructor and you will receive the equipment you need. If you arrive by car, you can use the free car park nearby. If you prefer using our pick-up service for an additional fee (10 €), simply let us after completing the booking. We will pick you up at or near your accommodation at the scheduled time. You can get changed and leave your personal belongings at the base.
Start time
The start time depends on the tides to ensure the best conditions, so please plan some extra time on the day of your surf lessons. The exact start times are available in advance. We will inform you in time after you have completed the booking.

Two of us were taking part on the private lesson. My 9 years old daughter and myself. I am 44 years old. Both of us were totally beginners. Our lesson was in English, however my daughter speeks only a few words . Our trainer Rafael was very patient, he told all the instructions slowly enough to enable myself for the translation to Hungarian. When he saw that my daughter did not learn properly how to stand up on the board, he repeated everything at the beach again and after this my daughter was able to stand up on the board finally. I also had some succesfull tries. Both of us had a very nice experience, and we really hope to come back one day.

Cannot recommend these guys enough, Rafa was a fantastic instructor and made sure me and my partner were both taken care of at all times and given very good 1 to 1 teaching. Will 100% be using surf4fun when we come back!
